The MonoTemp sensitivity tester combines a temperature comparison test with a monofilament for an orienting assessment of temperature and pressure perception. The compact instrument is suitable for professional use in podiatry and diabetic foot care.
For temperature comparison, MonoTemp features an alloy tip that provides a cool stimulus and a polymer tip that serves as a largely temperature-neutral comparison. This allows different temperature sensations to be compared during an orienting examination.
The polymer tip can be unscrewed to reveal the integrated monofilament, which is intended for testing pressure and touch sensitivity.
